Lifeforge Church Garden

Garden Information and History

LifeForge Church opened their garden to the community for two specific reasons.  The first is to allow for communal gardens that will help give back to the community.  Partnering with New Hope Community, Inc allowed for them to utilize more ground to reach out to more people.  The second reason was to create an opportunity to reach out to the area neighborhood.  Lifeforge Church Garden hopes to kickoff a green thumb program this summer that will allow children from the neighborhood to come and learn gardening. At the same time these children would receive mentorship in Christian morals and ethics from members of the church who would work side by side with them in the garden.  In addition to these objectives, they plan to have open plots available to the community, so folks can raise their own vegetables/flowers to fit into their lifestyle.
