Garden Information and History

In November of 2014, members of William Penn University joined forces with the Oskaloosa Community Garden Committee. For the past two years, WPU supported a communal garden, but struggled to find volunteers and spread their message. In 2015, they doubled the garden size and designated plots for community members. A total of 17 plots were filled.

The William Penn University Garden is currently seeking a volunteer garden facilitator. For a full description of responsibilities or more information on this position, please contact Ann Smith at bluezonesprojectoskaloosa@gmail.com
